Searching LinkedIn Neom's articles, YouTube videos, Google searches and other documents, we have difficulty distinguishing between what is fiction and what is real. In short, we are somewhat puzzled and this page is our Neom fact finding. As the above list presents, we as analysts, architects, managers, visionaries, developers, testers, ..etc, whom would be stocked with making Neom's components real and tangible. Not to mention our names and titles would be recorded for the world to see. Readers should not see our skepticism in any a negative way, but we are the ones whom would be making Neom a reality.

Our Views
The Neom project is a bold idea and an aggressive approach to what we see as new ways in build the future. Building vertical cities with high-rises to bring business and people together in the same space has been and still is the way of thinking. A new generation of Young Urban Professionals (YPS) was the outcome of this vertical approach. It seems that Neom is turning vertical cities into linear horizontal ones, building floating cities and using mountains tops as a platform of building variations. Everything the Neom projects is doing:- is music to our ears. We love the aggressiveness, all-out thinking, using the latest technologies and not to mention the funding.

Searching the internet for Neom's Pros and Cons, sadly there are only two camps. People who believes Neom is great and the second camp believes that Neom is a total failure and waste of time and money. Well, we believe that Neom implementation can use both vertical and horizontal infrastructure with a futuristic self sufficient system. Such system would be totally independent of the surrounding world without any of the world's fluctuating economics, environmental and politics. For example, Neom would have its own Cryptocurrency, raises its own crops (similar to what are used to feed space colonization, fish farming, wildlife ranches, ...) and its own space program. Note: space researches resulted in building miniature electronics. Neom can use space to harvest the sun energy from space and beam such energy for Neom to use. Therefore, energy production would be 24X7 regardless of day-nights-weather, ..etc.

As of 19 January 2023, RIYADH: Nearly 20 percent of infrastructure works at NEOM, Saudi Arabia's $500 billion megacity, have been completed, according to a top official.

Infrastructure is the foundation or the framework which supports any system or organization. In computing, information technology, infrastructure is composed of the physical and the virtual resources that support the flow, the storage, the processing and the analysis of data.

Bare-Metal:
A bare-metal server is the physical computer server that is used by one consumer, or tenant, only. Each server offered for rental is a distinct physical piece of hardware that is a functional server on its own. They are not virtual servers running in multiple pieces of shared hardware.

What is DevOps?
DevOps is the combination of cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that increases an organization's ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity: evolving and improving products at a faster pace than organizations using traditional software development and infrastructure management processes.

In a nutshell, DevOps is the teaming of infrastructure and development teams to speed the process of delivering applications and services for an institution.

Compression and Encryption are tools which are used by the IT community to handle Cybersecurity, but sadly Compression and Encryption do not stop hackers from interrupting any internet or cloud communication and services. Looking at Image #1, the number of possible hacking gates is not small.

Our Compression-Encryption:
Our Compression-Encryption Algorithms Process (CEP) are rather unique when it comes to:

       Flexibility
       Performance Speed
       Scalability


CEP is lossless with no loss of content nor accuracy. For example, CEP is performed in two steps. The first step is compression and second is encryption. CEP input is nothing but a file of bytes or a stream of bytes. The speed of CEP is as fast as the CPU running CEP's code. CEP would save over 90% of any file size and type. In other words, CEP would compress files bytes to be less than 9% of file original size. Encryption is performed using encryption-decryption key. The encryption-decryption key possible combination is almost infinite.

Our Compression-Encryption Algorithms Process (CEP) Chip:
For CEP's performance and secrecy, we recommend that CEP run on its own chip with its own CPU (processes and registers), Cache, memories and files buffers. CEP Chip can be internal or external to any device including mobile. All CEP needs is a stream of input bytes and CEP's output would a compressed-encrypted file which 9% of the input original file size. No mapping nor any requirement.

Chip-to-Chip Communication:
Chip-to-Chip communication would replace any security device (such as firewalls), protocol (SSL, HTTPS, OSI), any method of encryption (Quantum Computing, Quantum Cryptography Encryption) or any hacker's methods. As long as the CEP's input file is not infected, then eh CEP's output file received would be safe. Not mentioned transmission speed would 400 times faster.

Group Security Key:
By using mathematical formula, there is an infinite number possible security key which would be created. We definitely would be using the help of mathematical gurus creating such keys. We would be creating keys for different users' group. Each group would be able to share and communicate files, image, data, emails, ..etc. The key group categories would be:

Dynamic Encryption Key Structure:
The goal of the encryption key is to make it almost impossible to break using super-computers and AI. It also should be structured so any algorithms or operations used to encrypt-decrypt would be easy and do not take a lot of time. We also need to add a dynamic value such as timestamp so encryption-decryption can be easily have an expiration time and would make difficult for hacker to synchronized their key and make difficult to break or create even if hackers used reverse engineering to get the encryption-decryption code.

We would like to admit that our pre-joining researches were excited and we were and still are impressed with the scope and funding for such a project. How to handle our learning curve?
Our strategy would be using our training to build and add new training material. We definitely would be working with our Neom's management-teams' help, tips and documentation. Plus we would be using such effort to create training docs or adding to existing training. The outcome of the energy and time spent would be shared by Neom's existing teams members as well as new comers. Cloud training, video conference, one-one-one hands-on plus our teaching experience would be used to shorten the learning curve and adding new training.

How would we use our post-joining researches?
What we covered in the previous paragraphs is how an outsider looking-in would do. Once we have the comfort and confidence of our teams tasks and goals, we would try to perform extra searches on our won off time. As we have done in the past, we would not be at rest except when others see that we are a positive addition to the project and they can count on us in any assigned task. Team effort is the key.

Reusable Components:
Reusability and Object oriented Design is one of our biggest tools. Sadly, projects and project managers see using someone else approaches, code and system is a definite risk which it may not worth taking. We believe reusability of well testing system plus use of virtual servers would give the option to toggle any running system with ease by moving (switch) the production pointers to any virtual system as a way to do a rollback. For example, any newly tested system can be moved to production by simply changing the production point to point to the new system. In the case, the newly tested has issues, then rolling back can be by moving the production pointer back to the old virtual server which was in production before the switch.

Data:
Big Data is the beast which is continuously growing, constantly changing and has no end. We as End-2-End solution architects have been trying to convince the IT community or the world that we have an answer to Big Data. We can improve data processing both vertically and horizontally:
